DJ Moreau

DJ (Diana Jeanne) Moreau comes to Patino Associates as a seasoned Beltway veteran at the intersection of government/public affairs and technology, particularly the gaming industry. With a career built on connecting people from different arenas for a common good, DJ possesses a broad network sure to help clients across a wide range of organizations – from corporations to NGOs to non-profits to trade associations.

Prior to joining Patino Associates in 2022, DJ served as Senior Director of Partnerships and Programs at Games for Change – a unique non-profit that empowers game creators and social innovators to drive impact through digital games and immersive technology. Previously, she worked as the Head of Esports at Events DC and as the Head of Strategic Partnerships at GlassLab/LRNG – a joint venture between Electronic Arts and the MacArthur Foundation. Before that, DJ spent five years with the Entertainment Software Association as the Director of Third Party and Legislative Outreach.

Throughout her career, DJ has been instrumental in developing and managing numerous strategic initiatives including: (1) the U.S. State Department’s video game diplomacy program; (2) the Higher Education Video Game Alliance – a consortium of the top university video game design programs – as ranked by the Princeton Review; (3) the National STEM Video Game Challenge; (4) the District of Columbia’s official launch into esports; and (5) the first Youth Esports League Championship featuring the Boys & Girls Clubs. 

DJ is a former Division I college athlete, who earned her bachelor’s degree in Communications from Wake Forest University. When she is not running (especially after her two young daughters), DJ can be found enjoying the slopes or on the Chesapeake Bay with her family and doodle.
