XPO, a world-class provider of freight transportation has named Michael Abrahams as their Chief Communications Officer. Patino Associates led this search out of our DC office.
Michael will be responsible for the effective communication of XPO’s strategy and culture with its key stakeholders. As a part of his remit, he will oversee corporate and financial communications, reputation management, employee communications, media relations and digital engagement. Prior to joining XPO, Michael built a career as a communications professional over the last three decades. As a partner with FGS Global, he was an advisor to multiple Fortune 500 companies worldwide. Earlier, he managed strategic communications for a major U.S. media organization and worked in U.S. politics. Mr. Abrahams holds a master’s degree in public policy from the Eagleton Institute of Politics at Rutgers University and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Wisconsin.
