Varsity Brands, the leading company elevating student experiences in sport, spirit and achievement, promoted Susan Stahl Crumpton to Vice President, Corporate Communications, reporting to CEO Adam Blumenfeld. In this role, Sue will lead corporate communications for the Varsity Brands enterprise and its three divisions, BSN Sports, Herff Jones and Varsity Spirit.
Sue had joined Varsity Brand as the Director, Communications for the Herff Jones division through a search led by Michael Patino of Patino Associates in March 2022. As Director, Communications, Sue played a key role in shaping and articulating the President’s vision for a transformed Herff Jones. Sue provided functional leadership both to Herff Jones and as part of the communications leadership team for Varsity Brands.
Prior to joining Herff Jones, Sue served as Director of Transformation Communications and Chief of Staff at Charles Schwab. Sue also gained prior valuable transformational leadership experience in senior roles with CHC Helicopter, Bell Helicopter and American Airlines.
